  • Greely Kennel Club All Breed Show | Greeley, CO | August 21-22
    DogTread live demonstration. Bring your dog and try out a DogTread at the Platinum Pet Depot Booth. Location: Island Grove Regional Park, 501 N. 14th Ave, Greeley, CO
  • Pet Fest at Farmers Market | Ogden, UT | August 14th
    Bring your pet to the Farmers Market and have a fox tail. Again this year we are inviting Bob and Cyndi Conwell to participate. Dogs were just facinated and excited to run the “Course A Lure” (www.coursealure.com). It’s what dogs dream about at night. Note: All we ask pet owners is to be a responsible and “pick-up” after your pet.

  • Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows | July 21-25th
    Come join DogTread at the 33rd Annual Reliant Park World Series of Dog Shows, the city’s premier canine extravaganza, held July 21-25, 2010, at Reliant Center in Houston, Texas. Our Dealer Platinum Pet Depot will be demonstrating the DogTread live. As well, you may try your own dog on the DogTread!

    More and more people are training dogs to run on treadmills, Should you wish to try this, make sure the treadmill is safe for dogs, which is to say there is little or no chance that your dog’s paws will get caught under the belt.  Make sure the hair under your dog’s paws is properly trimmed so that he has proper traction.  If you get two treadmills, you can run side by side with your dog.

    A dog treadmill can’t replace the experience of taking your dog on a walk, and letting him or her absorb all the sights and smells of the outdoors. But if you are in a situation where walking your dog can’t be done regularly, it might be a good investment to keep their health in check.
